What kind of laptop should I get

I need one with wireless internet capabilities, plenty of memory, fast processing. I like to surf the web, download music, take pictures with digi cam. My price range is $800-$1500. I dont play allot of video games so i dont need anything fancy for that. Im kinda lookin at the Toshiba satellites but id like some advice cause Ive never bought a laptop computer before.

Toshiba's are solid, but I wouldn't go with a laptop if you ever plan to upgrade beyond hard drive and RAM. They cost WAY too much to get parts for or have repaired. If you're buying it from Best Buy definitely go all out and get the accidental damage PSP, you won't regret it.

Ehhhh... I was a laptop repair tech in high school. The entire school had Toshibas and they were ALWAYS breaking. Toshibas are full of design flaws. A problem that has plagued them for ages is that the solder between the DC charger connection and the motherboard breaks... Which makes the laptop impossible to charge/power.

Toshibas are big pieces of shit. I have one now that I am going to have to take apart and resolder the DC connect to the mobo.

I never thought I'd say it, but go for a Mac laptop.
