wbs slightly gooey even after rinsing
    #6770665 - 04/10/07 02:52 PM (17 years, 9 months ago)

I opened one of the jars of wbs I just PC'ed and even after rinsing for a good couple minutes it still feels a bit gooey

will this harm the mush?

Why are you rinsing it?

After soaking and then rinsing prior to PC, make sure the grains are drained dry enough so that a spoonfull of the grain will not wet a tissue paper significantly.

ok just making sure lol sometimes if you dont rinse well enough then what ever coating that they put on it after pc'ing gets all funky and gross.or if it has bacterial contamination that makes it greasy but you would notice that since it has a nasty smell to it.so more thank likely it is just starch in my opinion i would innoc em. they just might take longer to colonize
