Cake color question

what up everyone. i've been a frequent viewer and supporter of the site and would like to say thanks for all the wonderful info. usually i don't even need to make a post because i can search and already find all the answers i need throughout the board.

But here's my first post and question. my first flush of treasure coasts-using the standard PF TEK-has passed and now some blue is starting to show on some of the cakes. there's no foul smell and the temp is at 70-75 with damn near 98% humidity. It's been a couple years since i've cultivated and didn't remember anything of this sort happening before. Is this a sign of contaminates? what steps should i take to ensure everything is going well? any feedback would be great. thanx.

blueing is usually caused by too little moisture (unless you squeezed it there-- pressure can do it too)

I'd say coAsTal is on the money here.

I'd recommend you roll as well as dunk.

I've had cakes that were damn near blue all the way.

if your cakes are blue you are doing something wrong....i would say humidity
