Moose poo

So I was just reading the post about roo poo. I noticed that roo poo is almost identical to moose poo. This makes me wonder if any one has worked with particular excrement or if I will be the pioneer.

well, if im remembering this correctly, the rule with poo is this. If it comes from a strict herbivore, you should be good to go. Any poo from an animal that consumes meat is a no go. People have had success with sheep poo, elephant and other zoo animal poo, cow poo, etc. All of those animals eat grains and grasses and excrete fairly often leaving vital nutrients within it.

While im taking a guess here that the pasteurization process is the same for horse poo, i truly can't answer it 100%. Im no expert on animal behavior, but out in the wild be careful if you're collecting poo, especially if it's fresh. There;s a chance the animal might still be in the area and who knows what a pissed off or scared bajillion pound moose might due if you come stumbling across it. In all honesty it's a lot easier to find a local stable and ask to take some of their shit off their hands, almost all of them are glad to get rid of it for free, and it's pretty common for people to use in gardening so there shouldn't be any suspicion.

Personally i use tenn studd because i don't have a secure area to store and past. the poo at.

Well moose is local to me and they are polite enought to leave it right on my door step. Since moose are local just about every other animal is not. I guess musk ox are another option but they don't visit my front yard

Moose & deer poo, is not all that great.
They eat things horses & cows don't.
It works, but nowhere near as good as h/poo.
