OK...I was reading about the (Copelandia)Panaeolus Tropicalis-Florida...and after reading some of the posts on here I became very confused...I want to order some spores, but the various vendors give them names that stray a little from the scientific nomenclature and the Vaults of Erowid only confused me more...Is the "Copelandia" a different strain of Panaeolus Cyanescens???
Also: It seems that some folks here are giving growing advice for wood loving mushrooms when discussing Panaeolus Cyanescens...but others feel that dung/straw teks are more appropriate...Having read about where and how they grow, it seems like a combination of the teks would be best...I want to grow these predominately outdoors, BTW (although, I will case some indoors for fun)...Can someone help me sort through the information and point me toward the right vendors (Hawks Eye is sold out) and Teks for the (Copelandia)Cyanescens???

PEACE ALL!!!

I don't have your answers, but I am afraid you will be directed to the strain thread and this one will be closed.

Pan cyans are also known as copelandia. They're a dung and straw loving mushroom, like cubes. They're also a tropical species, so no cold shock is required. Just order one from a vendor. Strain makes little difference. RR

They are the same mushroom so your okay. They like stuff like cubies. I think you might have mixed up ps. cyanescens with pan. cyanescens You shold try the search funtion- you have your species off some. Any shromoery vendor is 100% groovy. I always feel I am getting much more than I give them.

Thanks for the info...Not for nothing, but it was all the searching that got me confused...Sometimes and abundance of information from multiple sources can be worse that a concise explanation from one reliable source...

I feel ya. There is an option in the search menu, on the bottom right hand side, that will limit each hit to one per thread, instead of every hit in everypost from the same thread.

Thanks for the tip...Civ was right though...Many searches returned information for P. Cyanescens...It wasn't until I realized what was happening that I could use the search to obtain the info I sought...The Azarius website had some great information that clarified the whole thing...
