Look what I found... Pictures... Ideas?

After hearing a rumor of a friend discarding an old spore print in the back yard of his house this past winter, we went to investigate to see if there were any remains... just for curiosity.

This is what we found. A hardened fungi looking thing with these white, almost cottonish, growths.

Any ideas as to what this might be... and if it is something special, what should he do to possibly help these babies blossom.

Suggestions please?!

That is a minature Tiki god statue! What a great find,You should wear it around your neck on a rope. Either that or a dog turd.

looks to be growing off a pine cone...no actives that i know of grow directly off of pine cones.... sorry dude, i dont think it would be a worth while specimen if your in to psychedelics.... that thing or whatever it is sure does look funny in the pick.....your in orlando....there should be many fields that produce the unmistable cubensis mushroom....whatever you are showing does not look promising at all......

Looks like the start of a Mousetail Mushroom... not "potent" but they are cute when they get older...

almost looks like fecal excretion, I wouldn't have picked it up Its definitely no active and not from the discarded print.
