 What ethno's do you like/want the most?

Just wondering which plants people like the best for either growing, consuming, or whatever you end up doing with it. Not including illegal substances, we all know the best stuff is usually illegal, I just want to know which LEGAL plants and stuff you guys like the best. I'm starting my own garden right now and am trying to get ideas.

i like peyote growing the best, odd because i am usually rather impatient. i also like slavia cause it grows fast and can be used very quickly.

Herbs are easy and very nice to have around. I like basil, lemongrass. Aloe vera is great because of its many uses and it's VERY easy to grow.
I am going to grow some chamomile next because I drink it as tea so often it will be nice to have my own supply.

I would love to grow a Tabernanthe iboga shrub. Unfortunately the seeds are horribly expensive and supposedly hard to get to germinate! =(

this is a strange one but vegetables are nice to grow and very satisfying when cooked after monhs of growing

That reminds me, I forgot to get lemon grass. So far I've got seeds for 2 different kinds of basil, chives, peppermint, spearmint, lemon balm, sugar plant, chamomile, parsley, tomatoes, 3 different kinds of carrots for in the garden, san pedro, peruvian torch, kanna, aloe vera, some other stuff I can't think of at the moment, and I plan to get some salvia too once I find a decent deal on some cuttings.

the morning glory may very well take over and kill your other plants. keep a tight leash on them.
having a nice wood chip bed with a few shrubs growing in it is good too. then when some mysterious mushrooms start growing there, ya....

whats neat is i saw morning gloy growing on datura it was amzing to see at night

Any psyco-active cacti and Anadenanthera peregrina if used for consumption are illegal. the glory didnt kick daturas ass they just live together bonded and such make me question taking some of both from that location but its a compost dump
