If your rolling with all that in your caseing layer you wont need to add the oyster shells, unless you be grinding them up into powder. I use them in my monotub substrates, but unless your going for the long haul, multiple bulk flushes, the oyster shells don't get a chance to do their thing. 20% of the organic matter being gypsum/oyster shell is a lot in just a caseing layer. (oh why I put oyster shells in the sub - I had been assumeing caseing/sub/spawn were the same thing for long time and just kept doing it outa habit)
Perlite doesn't need to be 10% of your caseing. I would use half that at most. (if your useing that list of stuff already)
RR says that gypsum is a must in verm/peat: 10 parts caseing, 1 part gypsum. Also you can use 1tsp of gypsum to 1qt grains to help them not clump if your grain prep is not so hot.
Coir is not needed- peat would be better in its place. Coir is slightly nutritive and peat isn't at all. We want the substrate to think its done colonizing and the nutrients are almost depleted, and that its time to fruit.
You always want to recommend people, useing grains, to have their PC at 15PSI for 90min (I think it says TEK on your post yes?) Most the people that follow the teks for their first times don't have very good grain prepping skills and taking 30min of prime time steilization is asking for some late term green. With LC, g2g, agar, etc you can buy a few days to a week of a "headstart" and never give the green a chance. And I am gonna assume you want to use the PC for your jars correct? You don't want a PC at 15PSI anywhere near your caseing layer. You can sterilze your coir in the oven, easy. Everything else you mention doesn't need to be pasturized if you got your stuff down.
I say it looks like a solid caseing. What grains/substrate mix did/do you spawn with/too?

This is for bulk, multi flush grows.

I didn't think it would hurt. I't mostly in there because I ran out of verm. But, I figured it might improve the texture some to have a variety of different sized particles.

I put it in there because it is nutritious. I thought it would help speed things up.

Since everyone disagrees on the issue of pastuerizing vs. sterilizing vs. leaving it alone I just picked sterilizing because I heard HippyChick say that she's had good results with it. I had to decide on something.
The substrate used is meant for spawnbags and is this: 30 Cups Shredded Horse Manure 16 Cups Vermiculite 14 Cups Coco Coir 12 Cups Wild Bird Seed 4 Cups Organic Worm Castings (11/2 1lb bags) 4 Cups Garden Gypsum 2 Cups Spent Coffee Grinds 3 Tablespoons Kelp Meal 4 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil 1.5 Tablespoons Hydrated Lime (add before hydrating) A tad under 1.5 gallons Water (add 1/8 tea hyd lime per gallon)
Makes 4 overstuffed spawnbags (82 cups dry)
