Bright white contams? Mutated fruits?

I've got a casing on my hands that appears to have been invaded by a very bright white contam. It started as small sprinklings here and there, then spread over the entire surface, though not in an even layer:

I tried searching for "bright white" in this forum, but all the results seem to be about trich which is supposed to turn green later (this stays white, whiter than the mycelium strands), or about really wispy molds (this stuff is much more compact/solid). Stranger still, my contam doesn't seem to have had a negative impact on the mycelium: I've gotten a large number of pins, and some very large mushrooms, as well.

Okay, those look pretty damn mutated. Is this normal appearance for "Burma" strain?
Could this whole thing been caused by a shortage of air exchange? I am running a sort of a neglect tek, with Tyvek-covered air exchange ports and a passive humidifier within the tub, though I do air it at least once a day (except for weekends, sometimes). Is this stroma/overlay forming due to insufficient air exchange? It seems to coexist with the normal rhyzo mycelium, but it doesn't really look like overlay pictures that I've seen.

That's mold. The fruits are shaped like that from not getting enough air exchange, which is the reason the mold took over. I'd bury that thing into a manure bed outside. Sometimes they recover and fruit again. RR

Can I eat the fruits that did mature though? There has been a LOT more growth since the pictures were taken -- actually it looks like some of the white mold has disappeared -- and I'd hate to lose a large flush.

The fruits should be fine. I'd suggest either drying or boiling into tea first though. RR
