...when I'm at the beach! I don't think I have ever walked away dry! Why am I so drawn to the ocean? I walked down this afternoon for a bit, just wanted a quick stroll and to check out the surf. Its cloudy, cold and a slight drizzle here today. But I went in shorts, a t-shirt and flip-flops anyway (its all I ever wear really). The water temp right now is only in the high 50's and the air isn't much warmer then that today. Still I found myself walking along the beach letting the waves wash over my feet. Next thing I know I'm up to my calves. Soon my shorts were getting wet at the bottom. It didn't take long before I found myself almost waist deep letting the waves hit me in the chest.
I walked home soaking wet, shivering, and sandy...in the rain. And I was smiling the whole way!
God I love the ocean!!

I love it too. I think it has healing powers. I grew up about ten minutes from the ocean and its one of the things I miss the most about Jersey.
Haven't really been in the Pacific but I'm drawn to the west coast like crazy.
My lease is up in July. I am going to start looking for work out that way maybe.
