just fushed my first time casing!
it was a shitload of mushrooms!! haha
but when i took them all down they started changing colors like the stems became an off whiteish green and the caps changes from a golden tan to a dark brown
im assumeing that this is because i touched them with my fingers right? are they contaminated??
please reasure me

Some pics would help buy my guess is bruising (bluish-green) from picking them. Dry those mushies up so they don't become rotten.

hell yea i dried them i picked up a food dehydrator and over dried the first batch
but next time i harvest (today =DD) ill know not to leave them in for too long
wow this wouldnt be possible if it wasnt for all the posters on shroomery seriously i would know jack shit about mycology

You're supposed to get the heating element out so that the excessive heat it generates doesn't oxidise all your precious psilocybin.
If you can't do that, you could dry them entirely using a fan and a desiccant chamber, though that might take longer.

If the dehydrator has a dial for temps, just turn it down to the lowest temp. If it doesn't have a dial for temps, it's not going to get hot enough to matter. Boiling water (tea) doesn't break down the potency, so anything under 212 degrees should be fine. I've used everything between 95 and 145 degrees without issue.
