 spilanthes oleracea dosage for dried flowers for toothpain

My girlfriends dad has a nasty abcess tooth thats kept him up for a few days now... I have some spilanthes oleracea dried flowers that i acquired from another member, but havent had to use them yet, i found a few tea recipes to use, but when chewing the dried flowers for a toothache like this how many should he chew on at a time? how often can he chew on them? how many per day would you think would be the most he should have? and is there any known adverse effect in diabetics? all help is greatly appreciated.... thanks guys

dont know about dried but fresh you could eat 1-2 at a time, as often as you can. no danger of overdose here, spilanthes is good for you all the time. tell him to eat whatever he feels comfortable with, eating spilanthes is an experience, and then to eat more when the tingling goes away or the pain comes back.
http://www.seedsofknowledge.com/spilanthes.html has a nice recipe for some tea that could help.

he only chewed on 2-3 of them and has helped enough he can sleep... thank you shroomery for opening my eyes to this wonderful plant....
