Tunnel - shady central.

The head of security at the venues where I work, he used to be a security guard there.

He's got tons of stories.

Tunnel has ALWAYS been shady, even back in the 80's when gaetian first opened it's doors. Did you hear the tale of the kid who OD'ed on GHB and ketamine? The security guards took his unconcious body and stuck him in some back room. When the medics came they were barred from the room and literally had to fight to get back there. By the time they made it the kid passed away due to respiratory failure, it was a death that could have been easily avoided if they got the kid out of the club and into a hospital ASAP. Apparently they were more worried about being fined and possibly shut down due to the drug use rather then the kid dying on their premises. After that story i stopped supporting NYC clubs, that and the fact that they started imposing stupid club 54 type of dress requirements. It really sucks travelling into the city, waiting in line for 2 hrs, to be told you didn't meet the look they wanted in the club that night.

how do you mean?

i have parts two and three,

and they don't seem too bad to me.

good track selection for the most part, and decent mixing.

I mean disgusting in a GOOD way. My favorite part is in pt2 of the set from about 36 mins until the first few tracks of part 3. It pretty much sums up EVERYTHING I love about Minimal techno. Heady, spacey, still full of energy - it takes you on a trip. The track that starts to come in at 36:42ish, the high sounding part that sort of floats along, then it breaks down at 37:00 mins and the bass starts to tease back in at 37:10 with the swooshy pads, then the wobbly-hypnotic bass kicks back in, then at 38:19 this really plaful melody or whatever kicks in -- *LOVE IT* soo much.

The entire set is pretty stellar, but the really minimal part makes me have a technogasm.

Then the track that comes in @ 44mins, top-notch --- teases things along, the echoy hats that sort of create 'space', the clean bass that creeps along, the chirpy sounds that find their way into it.

I find that some of the stuff in that set sounds so fresh it could of been produced in the past few years, good music is truly timeless.

They didn't. I replaced the song and notes of a bunch of songs with songs I wanted to play.

Nah, PS2. It takes a little time and effort, but it's worth being able to play songs you like.

If you're interested, check out the site scorehero.com. They have a bunch of customs songs and note charts people have created to play on guitar hero.

I think if you have the older PS2 there's a DIY mod you can do that voids your warranty. Otherwise you need a mod chip.

Edit: Actually I just remembered you can probably use Gameshark or there's something you can buy called Swap Magic but I don't think there's any software you can burn to run burned games.

yah that's what i thought, i don't mind voiding the warranty anyways. The only thing i use my PS2 for is GH and a DVD player.

my god. this band kicks ass. i am confused about the band though, in one video it is a single guy? did it transform into a two person gig? Also, i thought Daft Punk was kinda lame with "One more time" its kinda like a cheesy 90's song especially with the lame blue people in the video, but damn I saw this video and almost had sensory overload on a 15" computer monitor. fucking amazing, i am definately a fan now
