To the people who post looking for relationship advice on the Shroomery:

Seriously, if you just followed your gut and your heart, you'd be a lot better off than reading fifty slightly varied, often conflicting pieces of advice from people you barely know on the internet. You are you. The object of your affections is another person. The people here on the internet know absolutely nothing about you beyond the text you put on this screen, and nothing at all about the object of your affections aside from your perceptions of that person which you choose to share.
Sure you can get some good general advice here, but all I'm saying is you most likely know exactly what you should do. When you post asking for advice, you're either hoping to be dissuaded from the course of action you already are considering, or hoping that your ideas of what to do are justified.
Just something I'm thinking about, I don't mind those posts at all or anything.

I'd like to add that the only advice most of these people really need is "grow some balls."

If thats what they are looking for than let them, it takes feeling like youre doing the right thing and justified about your actions to be completely sure about something. They reach out for advice, but they know what they really want. Some people need that extra bump.

The real question is this.. If your girl could be workin' late, but you're horny now, do you choose to masturbate for instant gratification, which may leave ya less excited to get down when she gets home; or invest in a future foray that would involve the partner pleasure grove o' plenty plantastic plutious? I say, what a world we live in!

I usually give three stock pieces of advice.
#1. Don't put the object of affection on a pedestal.
#2. Women's "greener grass" theory.
#3. And for guys not to think too much with their small head.
And sometimes I'll add never trust what someone says, always go by what they say.
-------------------- Every mistake, intentional or otherwise, in the above post, is the fault of the reader.

I'm going to try! Hopefully things will fall into place - as of this particular moment, car is in the shop so I'm at the mercy of getting a friend to drive me up there.. but that shouldn't be too difficult! Let me know if you'll be there. Show last night was quite awesome - never experienced DSO before, though I've born witness to the Dead, RatDog, Lesh and Trey. I must say, the DSO setlist is an awesome throwback, and the vocals are downeight UNCANNY!
Eerily representative of the original voices I've heard on older Grateful Dead recordings
A great show!
Edit: Setlist for the Winterland 1977 recreation...
12/27/77 Winterland Arena - San Francisco, CA
Set 1: Bertha Good Lovin' Brown-Eyed Women Cassidy Peggy-O Looks Like Rain Dire Wolf Passenger Candyman El Paso Friend Of The Devil The Music Never Stopped
Set 2: Cold Rain And Snow Lazy Lightnin' Supplication Scarlet Begonias Fire On The Mountain Estimated Prophet He's Gone Truckin' Wharf Rat Around And Around
Encore: Samson And Delilah

dso do put on an eerily good show; it's crazy how one night they can sound just like late 80s dad, the next night like early 70s, so on and so forth - and each "flavour" of GD they reproduce almost flawlessly.
what show did they reproduce last night, or was it an open setlist?
