A question about a scene in the Matrix movie.

Okay, I know a whole buncha people out there seen this movie. Whats up with the scene where Neo hands that guy a disk and says "You know if you get caught using this..." This happens right after Neo gets that message on his computer to follow the white rabbit. Anybody know whats the disk? And why did that guy pay so much for it?

I'm not sure if thats such an important part...but watch and look at the title of the book that neo uses to hide the money.

Find at the title of the book and you'll see a good example of foreshadowing.

Yeah, I remember that book from studying Critical Theory in Art History, back in college, wasn't it Baudrillard's, "Simulacra and Simulations," or something like that?

There's a movie, I can't remember the name of it, but the people put these things on their heads called sqids I believe. They use them to play virtual reality games, or to relive old memories kind of like super-home videos.

For some reason I thought that's what neo was selling until I remembered that other movie.
