I "had a dream" in which 2 of my frinds said they would help me grow mushrooms one friend would give me a glass tank the other would buy the materials
I want to grow cyans

what have any of you tried ????

"In the dream " my friend wanted 50% of what ever I got (what I think is thats fine for a while but soon I can get spores and rice myself and I will have a system that doesnt stop

if I can take good spore prints


what shrooms have you grown???

and what did it turn out like
I really wanna try cyans (and I hear they are easy to spread outside )

In your dream did your friend that wanted 50% of what you got make a limit to how much that would be?
I had a FOAF who wanted to start growing and went halves on all the equipment with a guy but the other guy wasn't even the least bit interested in helping with the work. So my FOAF started growing and started to get some serious shrooms going and was pissed that he had to give the other guy half all the time. The other guy invested about $50 and no time at all and had received about 1/2 a pound when my FOAF finally had enough and gave him half of the equipment they first started with and about 10 different prints and told him to start growing his own. The other guy was an idiot and couldn't even grow green mold right so he began pestering my FOAF about their original deal. They now hate each other.

So unless your friend wanted to learn to grow himself you better think hard about whether the small amount of money you are talking about is enough to risk hard feelings.

As for growing cyans, my FOAF has been told that starting out you should use Cubensis' because they are the easiest to fruit and are much more forgiving.

Just my 2 cents worth

If you haven't grown before I strongly recommend cubensis. Cyans are relatively easy to grow but cubies will be enough of a challange for you to start with.
If you don't have much money it is easy to find cheap ways to grow shrooms using cheap alternatives. About $30 can set you up. Good luck.
