The last two years I have planted my patches in end of March beginning of April. I made my patch about two weeks ago. Ground was thawed and weather is getting warmer (been around 60-70 past 3 weeks) wake up today to SNOW!!!!! WHAT THE F#&*
It is like 30 sh out side now and I know that the thresh hold for the next year patch will stand a cold winter but they are still colonizing the wood patch...... My guess is that this patch is F'ed for this year, anyone want to try to cheer me up and tell me it's not as bad as it seems?

Well I know azurescens like the cold, I just don't know if they can withstand snow during colonization.....

I guess so... there've been many years it was fuckin' cold in... what ever may and there were still tons of either azures or any other wood living species out there. Don't worry too much, I guess your patch will be fine
