horrible experience with SHAMANSHOP.NET

i placed an order for 4 myco gro bags other misc items and a syringe i foudn the bags on sporeworks for $8 cheaper. they charged me individual shipping costs for each item. they sent one order promptly the next order came about 2 weeks late the final order, which was to be the syringe, never came and didnt have a estimated date of shipping. i asked for a refund they sent me one by paypal. i do not, and never plan to have a confirmed adress, now i have $27 locked up in a paypal account i cant use.
to make things better, i ordered from sporweworks and recieved my order before i got my order from shamnshop. i am going to perhaps do a bit more resaearch on the reliability of the shop i am ordering from, i was merely searching for any negative things about the shop i had in mind (shamanshop) instead o looking for outsdtainding traits of other reputable vendors, personally i have used sporeworks and would order from them again.
(oh yeah, if any vendor would use a paypal account (not the funds specifically but htw whole account) as credit towwards an order, i have $27 for you, if your willing to do a little work for the money, id order $15 worth of product for your troubles (i know $12 is more than enough for shipping)).
thanks for your time

In reply to:

you can transfer the money to your bank account from Pay Pal. takes 3 to 4 days to transfer.....one way. now say someone sends you money.....8 days total...... to put into your bank account. I know....I use Pay Pal alot!
good luck!

At least they were good enough to give you a refund... that says a lot. Not having a confirmed address to get your money is not Shamanshops fault. Most vendors in this business dont give refunds. We come to a fair agreement to give you new product.

yeah i think the shaman shop is a reseller for sporeworks....they call it "shroomworks". Basically what you paid extra for was for that guy to place your order for you..kind of a rip off huh....

i know this is true, but still, wtf am i going to do with a paypal account
We come to a fair agreement to give you new product.
they did offer this, but after how long it took to get my money back in the first place made me weary of trying to get products from them a second time. at times they answered my questions promplty and accurately, other times their emails would never be seen, largly when i was expecting my refund.
Most vendors in this business dont give refunds. We come to a fair agreement to give you new product.
inherantly it is because i never claimed to use paypal, and i requested my refund via moneyorder. i will never have a confirmed address so that money is now useless to me, unless i want to waste $1.50 of it. the concept that you have to pay to recive your own money repulses me, its not even real. i wont contribute to the 'flow' of what i belive is illicit currency.

"they sent one order promptly the next order came about 2 weeks late the final order, which was to be the syringe, never came and didnt have a estimated date of shipping.""
I work with the shamanshop a lot and I have found that they are great company to do business with. The only thing that I could see that might be a bother to someone is the extra shipping charge that is often tacked onto some of the products that they offer.
Shipping times have nothing to do with the shamanshop since the products are drop-shipped directly from the manufacturer to the customer from the product's maker (in this case, the sporeworks). The shamanshop has no control over shipping times since this is handled by the product makers and not them. All they do is process the orders for you and the product maker and hope that the product maker does his job in a timely manner.
In my situation, I make the pods and ship the pods directly from Mycotek. However, in the case of Homestead's EZ-Grow kit and The Sporework's Myco-Enviro Bags, there is an additional party involved who makes the actual kits that these guys sell to the shamanshop who, in turn, sell them to you. This extends the processing time and so it will naturally take longer to receive the actual product.

i understand this... it is a quite lame concept, shamanshop should act as a warehouse/distribution to the customer, then there would be no extra shipping cost. and since they dont, i wont waste money with thme anymore.
in the case of Homestead's EZ-Grow kit and The Sporework's Myco-Enviro Bags, there is an additional party involved who
these came semi late, as per THEIR confirmation email delivery date. it was about 3 days late, but it didnt matter because the thing i needed, the spores, never came. i ordered them from sporeworks before i got my refund from shamnshop, and recived them from sporeworks (wehre shamnshop orders them from) before i recived my refund. this was the last straw when dealing with them.

I ordered a couple of non-shroom items from shamanshop, but will not order there again. The individual 'lost' my order, and when I called him he seemd like a stereotypical 'stoner' dude who didn't really have his act together. I eventually got my order, but the quality was poor for the price.
Poor price, poor service, poor quality = no more orders
