Will Pasteurizing 50/50 case smell up my house?

If I fill a pillowcase w/ peat moss and verm and heat in water at 150 degrees for 1.5 hours...will my house stink and need aired out? Also will a terrarium with wet perelite and fruiting casings have a conspicuous smell? In other words are my roommates going to ask...what the hell is that smell in either case. Thanks guys.

im not sure on the whole smell issue, ive never used a pillow case though ive always used an oven bag, if pasturizing anything. and created a vent with a piece of pipe, polyphil, and this breatheable med tape i found at walmart. ive never really pasturized peat moss/ verm as i have a pc, and have always used my pc when messing with verm/ peat moss etc. the only thing i have pasturized was horse poo, and i mean you would think it would be terrible, and dont get me wrong the smell wasnt flowers, but pasturizing my horse poo didnt really stink up my house. as for is there a smell of casings, not really, i mean the mushrooms will put off co2 while growing, but if it starts to smell terrible then there is probably a problem with it. when you open up a fruting chamber its not going to make your whole house smell. but once you start growing you will get a good idea of how it should smell.
