Amanita Cultivation

I have a decent sized conifer bonsai tree that im gonna try to use as a host tree for amanita muscaria var. formosa... formosa's are the only var. that i see that grows here so it makes sense to use it. as spores/tissue will be readilly available.
on the side, im going to take a cutting/clone of a conifer tree that i know already host's amanitas and bonsai the clone to see if i can cultivate this mushroom..
any tips on what i should use as medium? im guessing soil..
as for inoculation ill try to make an amanita syringe and try injecting the crap of the roots and stems. (i think stems would be good to squirt because spores float through the air and would make contact in nature...who knows)
or take a live tissue sample (when they start to pop up late summer/spring) and bury it touching root and soil
anyone ever tryed this before????
any tips????
there needs to be more info on this mushroom for sure.
ill post pics when i takem....

I would think that you could do some sort of liquid culture, root your clone and once roots develop dip the roots in the liquid culture and then plant. not sure what type of media that mushroom likes though.

sorta... with proper preperation it is a crazy feeling. i just want to cultivate it because its beautiful. amanitas grow everywhere here so cultivating for entheogenic purposes would be futile (unless cultivated for out of season purpose)
yea...heck if potting a bonsai makes a tree smaller, i wonder if ill get mini- mushrooms
and amanitas are so abundant here, ive seen them grow out of season in the middle of a huge ashphalt jungle parking lot in one of the few small island planters!...of course it was increadibly yellow and full of slug holes exedera exedera .

take a spore print from a wild one and then put the spores in some water and water the tree with it.
see what happens

Guys do a search on this subject- it pops up every few weeks or so.
Useing amanita spores that way wont work.
