That would be me, but it shouldn't be fucked up, just a little different. It's to accommodate the extra 'forum' column on the My Threads page.

I don't know; for some reason the layout of it really bothers me. On shorter-titled threads that haven't been read, there is a ton of space there. I think the consistent, organized layout of the main forums shouldn't be sacrificed for the "My Threads" page. That's just my opinion, though. It just doesn't seem like having a forum column in My Threads is enough of a reason to alter the layout - can't the people who use it simply click the link to the thread and find out what forum it is, or develop the slightest sense of what thread was in what forum? I mean, one obviously posted in it, it isn't that hard to remember stuff. :smirk:

I think that under your profile, the 'My Threads' should be 'My Posts'. It gets confusing.

The fact that it is the most featured board one has ever seen is probably due to the fact that the users are very active in expressing feedback and ideas to the administration. I personally do not see how expressing this concern is "whining about every little aspect of the forum"; it is a huge change to the layout of the forums. Coincidentally, your screen name in particular doubles the amount of empty space in one column when you created the last post in the thread, regardless of whether or not the thread has been read.

It really makes everything very disorganized, and it isn't aesthetically pleasing - it looks like a mess. Obviously this is just my opinion - calling it how I see it.

Well it sounds to be like you just don't like it because it's different. If anything it should be less disorganized since now there is a consistent column width across all forums and pages. But just assuming the columns all need their width specified in percent, what would you change exactly?

I don't like it because it is not as aesthetically pleasing as it was previously. I'm not concerned with column width, but consistent column height.

I'm not intending on being negative, but am simply offering my critique as I see it, for your consideration. I don't know anything in regards to the percentage, but simply that it is most preferable to me in the way it was before the change.

I don't dislike something simply because it is change. In fact, I enjoy the opportunity for awareness in all change - reality exists in a state of constant change. I dislike something because I dislike it. :wink:

Its no big deal - just expressing some feedback. That's what the box outside the office door is there for. :grin:

My main point is thatit is a change that is not witnessed on the main forums. For example, the expanded usage of emoticons and the variety of their size screwed up the layout, yet it was worth it, due to the benefits of an expanded line of emoticons at our disposal.

However, this is a change that is disrupting my experience of the main forums, for a feature that is experienced only by the user of that feature. I'm just wondering if there is a way to apply the change only to the "My Threads" forum.

How much coding would that require? :shrug:
