Top of cake doinng nothing

Ok I birthed my cake and had it in my window seal and it did absolutely nothing for 3 weeks. I then gave it light 24/7 and my mushies started forming at the bottom of the cake. The sides and top of the cake is doing nothing. I also just lost my light source so I put them outside in direct sun and in 89 degree weather.How should I get the top of cake to fruit? Does the light sound ok? I cant believe how fast this board moves!
