Sorry to hear that Blue. Guess is wasn't bruised mycelium afterall. I'm not sure you can doing anything to prevent it from happening to your other jar besides waiting and watching. Good luck, hope you can at least harvest one cake.

Actually it is the mold Penicillium, not penicilllin. Penicillin is the extract antibiotic from penicillium
