Wisdom teeth removed

Although off the topic, its also the beginning of a question. Yesterday i got my wisdom teeth pulled. When laying in the bed, i was injected with an IV. In a few seconds I could feel it going through my body, then i felt high, then i got a little more confused. The whole time i was thinking "Wow i wonder what it will be like when it kicks all the way in" I got more dizzy, then suddenly i could see again...It was wearing off. I started worrying, "I'm going to feel it, i better tell them" I tell them that its wearing off, and they say "You are done" ... Wow! what a trip, time just skipped. It wasnt like i even went to sleep, and time went by, and i woke up. Time stopped. This just got me to thinking about time, and how maybe it doesnt exist, and its just really perception. I was out for 1 and a half hours, and it didnt feel like a minute, it didnt feel like a second, it didnt feel like a milisecond...it didnt exist, it was no time. This just puts a whole new twist on my opinion of time, eternity, and the works. I dont know what to think. If i were to live for eternity, but it was 0-time, it wouldnt seem all that long afterall...this takes away form my intinity fear...however, if it lasted forever, wouldnt that make it nothingness... i dont know...on a side note, i got 30 7.5/750 vicodins (hydrocodone/apap) ~~~ and i look like a chipmunk.

I think they gave me sodium pentathol when I got my impacted wisdom teeth taken out.
*dentist injects sodium pentathol into the IV in my arm* "Okay, you should start to have a metallic taste in your mouth..." 10 seconds later, I felt like I had a mouthful of pennies and a severe body rush came over me. An amazing drug... crazy high... then I blanked out. I woke up feeling damn good but my mouth was plugged up with cotton. I was fucking ripped for like an hour afterwards. I would like to try it again minus the surgery.

Which I suppose is a hell of a lot better than trying the surgery without the Pentathol

Sodium Pentathol is famous from spy movies where it is know as "truth serum". Lower doses will get you talking like a drunk.

It's just BS.... there is no such thing as a truth serum. I mean, c'mon do you really think Arnold Schwarzenegger (True Lies) is strong-minded enough to resist the effects of a REAL truth serum? I don't think so. He'd start blabbing his mouth like the little bitch he is... at least, that's what I heard on http://www.moviepoopshoot.com
hehehe

i remember i had an operation and was given some sort of opiate sedative. they said bring a long a cd to listen to while your being probed and stitched.... anyway i woke up again and wanted to tell them to stop because i was awake, but i couldnt do anything, then i heard the music in the background and felt very peaceful.... anyway when it was over i felt full of energy, no pain or tiredness at all ... I was told that i should sleep for a while, but i was determined to show my parents that i didnt need to go to sleep, i could run down the road as fast as anything, and jump and skip and.... it seemed completely rational at the time, but in retrospect i was completely fucked. why dont they use this all the time instead of that 'general' anaesthetic BS?

How come they don't give us the ketamine option? I mean, if I requested it.

It is real, not in the sense that you cannot tell a lie, but in the sense that your inhibitions and all of your protective guards are shut down. There is no concept of "Hey, I shouldn't tell this person this piece of information." It will work on many, but not all people.

I cant' belive they put you to sleep, i thought that was only for emergency, anyways, i had all mine removed 2 years ago. They did 5 injections to my gums with a needle containing novacaine, then just pulled them out, I think they may have done some drilling too,,, anyways, I can't relate to what your saying, I guess I need to get some Sodium Pentathonal

"Now I know how Soriety Girls get home." Haha! OoD I like you. I'm still a little angry about you desacrating that playing card. At least it's a cute face. Waking Life was a great movie (was it you who recommended that?)

I think that hongomon's comment was directed at your (presumed) mug superimposed on that card... maybe you (OoD) were just laying down the sarcasm a bit too much for me to read into though. Fug it...
