I don't think spraying bleach is a good idea. Diluted hydrogen peroxide is okay though.

Don't spray the cakes directly, especially if there are pins visible. I believe it can cause them to abort.

you really dont want to spray bleach into your setup. H202 is is ok but you really should only be spraying it when you see cobweb mold (this kills it without killing myceliun) but it does slow down mycelium and shroom development
