I'm a little dismayed by the size of these mushrooms... are they supposed to be so small (1 inch high)? Is it possible they do not thrive on brown rice -- that I should have cased them using rye?....

They may not thive on BRF if they have been grown constantly on brown rice flour.

Although i'm more familiar with the Lipas i'd say mebe yer substrate depth is,nt sufficient which often plays a role in determining the size of yer mushies the brf should be sufficient as a sub though ,if im after large fruits i'd go 3 er 4 inches on the sub though provided that you have the capaciety to do that as in room also mixing yer br with dung after colonisation would help in giving it extra nutrients ,check out a dung tech an try that.MEW

THai ks are weird! they do what they want!
They should typically be a couple inches tall and be very potent. TRy em and then see if there are any real complaints...
