Oh yeah, I remember now, like the bare feet on the Abbey Road album and stuff.

Nah, lennon says "cranberry Sauce". I think the Beatles came up with the paul is dead stuf, and they did put clues in albums covers, pics and lyrics, just for a laugh. I listened to I am the wulrus tripping, although it was on in the background. strawberry fields is brilliant for tripping.

Yes, "Strawberry Fields" is quite good, but if I had to pick a Beatles favorite, it'd be "Penny Lane"

I love Beatles while tripping, also The Doors, White Noise, Shpongle, and some other stuff, but those are the favourites. I don't mind a little darkness, I think it's a part of the "cleansing" process unless it followes you through the trip.

"This is a short list of some of the BEST tripping music there is"
I suppose it really depends on the person. I have never found any beatles or music with a guitarist and singer like everyone else seems to enjoy as truly "psychedelic." The singer and his words always remind me of humans. The sound textures, even in hendrix, are also not very impressive, while the melodic compositioin may be.
For me, I need music that has no lyrics (lyrics remind me of thoughts and a defined self, as someone is singing). Some mind-bending texture based music is a must. If you think some beatles or somethiing is intense to trip to, I should send you an mp3 or 2.
Not that I am saying my music taste is better or something, obviously stick with whatever makes you happy and you have a good time with.

I totally agree with your suggestion. Just look at my title!!! If you want info on REAL headphones click on my sig. I am a changed man ever since I got my pair of cans. As to hendrix - I had my best trip ever listening to Jimi at Woodstock while on 4 grams. Jimi was weaving colors and textures throughout my field of perception. He was having conversations with himself through his guitar playing. If you don't feel it is adequate you just haven't experienced it like I have. Headphones MAKE your trip.

It is not the same. Headphones give you surround sound no matter which way you turn your head. Also headphones can give you sound quality that rivals stereo setups that cost hundreds if not thousands of dollars. My cans cost $99 and they were the best investment of my life to date. I couldn't afford sound like that from a stereo. I listened to ALL of my cd's over again because of all the extra noises and sounds that I heard swirling around my head. Check my sig if you don't believe me.
Love ya Mark!

I am not talking about the headphones that came with your ipod or sony headphones. There is a whole different level of sound that can be achieved with quality cans. Check out my sig, I plead you. I still like headphones even if they aren't of high quality. You don't get to FEEL the bass though!
