Huge cubes

just wondering what kind of cubensis produces very large caps and long thick stems? Caps are golden brown and stems are very thick and meaty

It's very hard to differentiate between Cubensis strains.

The Orissa strain will produce gigantic cubes, however!

The size depends on more than just strain. It is determined by many things, including genetic predisposition of the strain and of the batch in particular and the growing conditions. Any strain is theoretically capable of producing huge fruitbodies.

yea I know that..but I think I heard a long timer shroomerite mention that texans are generally short, and dense and thick
I may be mistaken though

a cube is a cube is a cube, they just grow all over the world and have different characteristics in looks, very slightly.


set/setting is much more important.
