one question i forgot to ask.

the six jars that are almost fully colonized are all showing fluffy mycillium growth that is immidiately followed by pins. should i worry about this in the jars that have another week to go?

You are now growing truely invitro. Next time keep your jars out of the light. But for now, put them in someplace dark. Wait until colonization is complete. It's not worth the risk of contamination to open your jars at this point to harvest these shrooms.

A lot of people initiate pinning inside the jars before they birth their cakes. I would say that you could go ahead and birth them. But if your chamber isnt ready and you have to wait any longer, you may want to let these go. Ive had pins start in a couple of mine. They were completely fine growing later, except a couple of the caps were bent weird i guess because of the pressure against the jar before.
Im not sure what Jango meant about contams. Im assuming he meant the ones that were not finished yet. But the other ones are fine, IMO, to birth.
