wild mycillium!

i just checked up on a few jars that are almost completely colonized today. the strain colonizing is puerto rican, and its mycillium appears to be very aggressive. on one side of the jar where the cake has shrunk back and made an empty space i have free strands of mycillium reaching from the cake almost an inch to touch the glass. is this normal? does anyone have this kind of growth pictured? let me know....thanks, and i'll post some pics soon.

I innoculated my 6 Puerto Rican jars 6 days ago and they have half-colonized the jars. Your jars are going pretty fast, but its nothing to worry about.
