second flush yeilds...

for whomever said that the second flush tends to have lower total yields but high weights per each was DEAD ON. My first flush yielded 186 grams wet of about a hundred 1.0 or 2.0 gram mushies and this second flush yielded 52.3g off of six mushies, the first two being 15 & 20 grams respectively.
I even had to cut the tops so the caps would fit under the dehydrator, lol. OMG, solid centers and huge caps and the centers instantly turned dark blue the moment they were cut. I seriously wish I was set up to isolate the genetics off these but this was only a trial run to establish process. But oh ho, next time...in the distant future, next time...

Yea,second flush fruits are usually noticeably bigger, and if you don't have anything waiting to get in the greenhouse and you let it go to a third flush you may only get 2 shrooms but they will be monsters

Good, because if I can figure out the process with enough confidence, I'm going to try to create a couple stints out of that one if it ends up being a solid stalked fat cap like the previous ones.
Can you imagine just how intimidating tackling that project seems to me right now having such a flat learning curve... I usually like to be much more anal retentive on research but if I could manage a way to make a couple stints from those it would be a HUGE success in my research attempts.

Same exact thing has been happening on my coco coir casings. First flush: tons of small shrooms. Second flush: not as many, but considerably larger. Third flush: only a few shrooms, but they are fucking HUGE.

one time off of 1 of my thick poo trays I got 3.5 first and a 4.5 second and then .5 final
so I dunno how to explain that.
