check it out
perlite on bottom, with 90% distilled water/10% hydrogen peroxide
polyfil in holes... the holes are about the size of a pea
i used a plastic canvas thing i found at walmart, placed on top of the perlite, it seems good to set the cakes on
what do you guys think???

I think you should take the mat off. Other than that it looks great. Could probably even use more holes, and you can even take the fill out.

just set the cakes on the jar lids or tin foil. i dont think that mat will do much of anything.

Hehe looks like you're getting into it. One thing to consider is that you might want some holes up top too so that air will flow from top to bottom. Do what you will though and I'm sure it'll turn out just fine Good luck.

It is never a good idea to have a heat pad under anything except a sore back or a stiff neck

Yeah you want to birth that guy- You don't want him pushing around in there. But you don't HAVE too. It could wait and be birthed- without problems also. I belive by this point the core of your cake is fine and you are in the clear.

lol, i agree. if you make little stands for your cakes, you'll have more surface area for your perlite.

^i made that from the bottom of a water bottle.(those were PR, which is why they were so skinny - but still my favorite strain)
and your really should drill holes in the top, and maybe take out that polyfill.
...any good movies?...

well i'm going to see how this works out, i don't want to go making more holes after i already put the perlite in...
the question is: Do i birth the cakes now?? or wait a few more days???

The skinniness of the mushrooms had allot more to do with your high carbon dioxide levels and low nutrition then it did with the strain.
