Does Meneercactus take photos lying down? Perhaps its an art thing!! Or perhaps he sampled some home grown while taking the photos?

Do you just grow that in your room?
How do you not get black tips?

Black tips are usually caused by too much sun, or as I have found changing the enviroment it grows in, Eg, when I got my clone the edges quite quickly turned brown/black, but only on leaves that were on the plant when I got it, all new leaves (apart from maybe first 2) don't brown at all. If you haven't had the plant for long just give it time (although the original leaves will probably never be all green), if you haven changed any of the conditions throughout its life then it could be too much direct sunlight.

yeah, that one just sits in my room. I don't spay them. In the beginning I sprayed them with water a few times a week but after a while I started spraying less and less and now it doesn't need high humidity anymore. Also the cuttings you make from such a strong plant have more chance to survive somewhere else. So this is the living proof that you don't need a humidity tent or something like that

Very beautiful. Have you considered cutting it down a bit to force it to branch more? It'll be more manageable, in my opinion... I mean, unless growing a Salvia tree is your goal. I was avoiding cutting it down until mom knocked one of mine over, splitting it in half... but I'm glad it happened. Made cuttings off of it, and both are rooting. Keep up the good work!

Lucky sod. I had 2 salvias but they both died. Maybe over-watered them. I'll try again later. Now I got other nice things.

It's so high it's almost falling over... so I think I'll have to cut her up and make more cuttings. I'll have to apologize to her
