When I read reports on things such as Astral Projection and Telepathy, I have noticed that the reporters write as though they have truthfuly experienced these things.
Do you feel as though these experiences actually happen, or do you think it's just a load of bollocks caused by an alteration in neurochemistry?

I know astral travel exists because I have experienced it, I can't speak for telepathy though.

Astral Travel seems more convincing to me, due to it being a solo experience. If telepathy were to occur, it would truly be phenonemal.

I had a few experiences of both.
My strongest astral projection was when I was 5 years old and was the most amazing experience in my life, due to it I carried an interest in spiritual matters, as an adult I had a few short ones, but never like the first one, and one was induce by shrooms.
Unfortunaly I can never project at will (God knows I tried) I can only say that it is nothing like a dream, I was very lucid when it happen (except the one by shrooms).
Telepathy, I had experiences all under the influence of shrooms, twice with my tripping buddy and once with my wife, it is an amazing experience, which I am sure if you are tripping with some that you have a good relation you can duplicate.
The feeling is of complete melding of the "souls" to give it a name were you don't know where you beguine and the other one ends, is not just thoughts you share is emotions to, is a very beautiful experience where all boundaries are broken, it goes beyond sex, is the ultimate intimacy.
I know it wasn't my imagination because my wife and tripping buddy felt the same thing.
Fore those out there that want to debunk me, yes I have no scientific proof, and if you want call me crazy go ahead, I am just describing what I have experienced.

that sounds amazing... in theory it shouldnt work on brain waves, but maybe it works on pheremones or subtle feelings picked up and brought to the surface by the subconscious & corroborated because of your similiar situation... ive got to try that, is it sort of like the mdma effect? or is it more real... i imagine it would be

I really don't know how it works, or what’s is at play here, perhaps there are some things that science still has to discover (we know so little), about mdma I wouldn’t know, never done it.

I have never came near that kind of intensity, But I do believe that communication betwwen 2 very close people becomes easier with less said. Astral projection. never but would LOVE to see that.  One time I maybe came close. I was tripping and I sat still. completely still for maybe 20-30 minutes. felt like I was just a pair of eyes. wasnt quite out of body but as close as I have came.
And I have to ask LOBO... Why do you have all those symbols everytime you write an 's during your posts??? is it on porpose or some tech error or what?? I gotta know. Postalboy

try some of the things you wish to experience on the wounderful mush mush of this planet (if you do, try taking a higher dose, or using an MAOI) or try some other things in the tryptamine family. alpha-methyltryptamine, lsd-25, dmt, some of these tryptamines will open those connections, or allow you to learn how to do it w/o the substances

Regardless of people's beliefs...all experiences are "real" and legitimate. So if it's all neuro-chemistry that doesn't mean it wasn't a real experience. I believe in consciousness and I believe that consciousness outlives the body. I also believe consciousness exists in multiple frequencies simultaneously and can explain such things as telepathy. Plus, there's overwhelming evidence of reincarnation in both Buddhist and Hindu cultures. So for me...I don't claim to know anything for certain aside from my own experiences with consciousness; its expansion and continuity. I don't believe you need drugs to expand your consciousness, but I do believe given the proper circumstances/settings you can use psychedelics to improve your sober practices. My meditations have improved immensely since I started meditating stoned last year. My sober practices can go longer/deeper than before I tried meditation while stoned. I look forward to the shroom-mindfulness experience has to offer as well. Just remember...it's YOUR consciousness the drugs are affecting...not the other way around. What the drugs show you is already present in your mental continuum...sometimes the drugs just act as a catalyst to opening you to them.
