EZ Gro Shroom Kit

I've been looking at the EZ Gro Mushroom kit on this page(http://www.shamanshop.net/ez2.htm). I wanted to buy it cuz its only $100 and I am still living with my parents so I need something simple. Ive been reading good and bad things about this kit. Please someone help me.

Make your own a lot cheaper. look around here you'll see a lot of different designs
people have come up with. Save the cash for spores or a nice pressure cooker.

This aint a friggen ronco rotisserie you cant just set it and forget it.

If thats your plan, and u really just want a quick way to some fruits dont bother. This shit is time consuming, takes dedication, and you probably wont succeed because learning the process is 99% of your success.

I strongly urge you to save your 100 bux, read the PF tek, and budget yourself... Cause for about 50 bux you can have everything you need to do this correctly. And if you have 100 to spend that would even include everything plus a kick ass pressure cooker.

Again I agree. I got my whole set up for under $200 that includes the syringes and PC.

Lessons best learned through disappointment and failure cannot be taught to the ignorant.

I have found that the most hassle-free way to grow is by ordering pre-sterilized mycobags. You can even allow the shrooms to fruit in the bag, although you can't case them. They are much cheaper than what you are looking at. If you do decide to get them I wouldn't recommend getting them from shamanshop, they are MUCH less pricey elsewhere. Search the vendors forum here for better vendors.

trust me, going with the pressure cooker is the easiest way, you will find it hard to hide a kit from your parents. I tried once myself, I didn't get caught, but then again I have very lenient parents and I worked my ASS OFF to keep it hidden well. Which was in the center of my room under and box, which my mom knew about. She just didn't know what it was. Go with the pressure cooker way, You can buy one for about a hundred and fifteen bucks at Foley's and other department stores.

Buy a dozen 1/2 pint widemouth jars
bag of perlite
bag of vermiculite
bag of brown rice flour.

Once you have all those, go into the shroomery and check the section for growing, then find the PF Tek method and check that out. It's a very simple process for cakes just get like a tiny fish tank or something to put it in.
