How to get the most out of a cake?

Hey shroomers,

I was wondering what i can do do make the most of my cakes. I am following the PF tek. I plan on injecting 10 cc of water at birthing and 10 more cc's every other day into the cake. Other than the water injecting and making sure conditions are optimal what can be done to get cakes to have good flushes?

that seems like an awful lot of water to add....I would suggest dunking it and using the double-ended casing tek. GL though if you decide to inject the water.
