Should I give lsd anther shot?

The 1st time I took lsd, I was told to take 3 hits. So I did. And bad things happened and it was not fun. I had a bad time. Very bad. :sad:

Anyway.


Since it seems to be everywhere, should I give lsd another try?


Gimmie some pointers, or some shit, I don't want to wind up in that negative spiral again...

take it slow, start with one hit, chill in a space where your mind can be at ease.  Avoid places with over stiumlation like a club or crowded party, trip with someone else more experienced or have a sitter who you trust to help keep you calm if things get too heavy.

Honestly, just take it easy and let it flow, however if you're finding yourself really anxious or nervous about taking it i'd suggest waiting until you're 100% comfortable with taking it.

good luck man, LSD is fun, but it isn't for everyone :smile:

yeah i kinda missed all the importent stuff. i always thought lsd should be legalized & giveing out like junk mail in light hits then people could get the better stuff from the store.

1) make sure you're getting real shit (come up time and duration are good indicators, www.erowid.org), you never really know what you're getting on that bitty piece of paper/vial/geltab/sugarcube/assorted candy, etc., so know your source.
2) take it slow

since it 'seems to be everywhere' you've got absolutely nothing to rush. three hits for your first time seems pretty ambitious; especially if you didnt test it yourself. my advice, take a lower dose in a very easy to handle situation. have some good tunes to listen to, some pot to smoke while listening to it, and a good buddy to talk/trip/get high/listen to music with. should be a great time!

I havent touched acid since my last encounter with it, my guy told me he put more acid that i asked in my drink so i thought he might had just put one hit extra, wrong. Somehow he put around half the vial on my drink.

So far in all my experiences, drugs, common everyday things, death, accidents, lost of friends, nothing compares to that night, it was the most fucked up trip i have ever had, and probably the reason why I dont really want to trip anymore.

So just take one hit, I might take half a hit if i ever want to trip again. I loved low doses of lucy.

i love lsd.

4-5 hits of average grade lsd is my preferred dose. Obviously if its some good shit I would need less. I personally have had never had a bad experience in lsd. God it's of my most loved experiences.

i think you probably just took too much. try one hit and make it a real mellow night with some chill music, cool visuals on the cpu, some good smoke, and just let everything vibrate a little higher. i love those lower doses where you aren't operating from a completely different reality, it just gives this reality a whole new undercurrent of electricity, and where everything seems illuminated differently. i think you will enjoy that kind of trip much more :tripping:

i should have mentioned this earlier, but it's also a good idea to do some reading to mentally prepare you (you might not have been 'ready' for the lsd)

timothy leary is fantastic, here's a link to an online book of his on erowid called 'The Psychedelic Experience', if things start to go awry you can have someone recite some of the passages to help you out of your rut.

Who the hell told you to do 3 hits for your first time? That guy/girls a Moron. Give it another chance, like others said before...start out slow a hit maybe 2 (2 seems to be the usual). I'm sure you'll be ok
