Do we know of any ways to repel atmosphere?

What about ionisation?

What do you mean "Repel Atmosphere"

Do you mean create a vaccum?

This is certainly possible.

Yes, create a vaccum but externally.

I'm trying to create (theoretically at least) a method of propulsion that utilises a device to repel atmosphere itself.

Like creating a vaccum on the outside of a vehicle. Resulting in the propulsion being more efficient.

Like some sort of "force field" that will form and prevent gasses from penetrating it?

Ummm, no. At least not with current technology that I've ever heard of.

An aerofoil creates a partial vacuum on the upper side. That's how airplanes work, and is done mechanically.

I thought about trying to find an electrical/magnetic method of repelling fire.
