Salvia quid + gum = ?

Would chewing gum or drinking something while you have salvia as quid in your mouth mess with anything? Or what about chewing salvia INTO gum? Haha

I'm amused enough that I'll answer your multitasking quid inquiry:

Will it prevent absorption?...probably not.  But it would be like chewing tobacco while drinking or chewing gum.  Apparently you're prepared to chew the leaves INTO gum, so the sloppy mixture that would probably result by doing both wouldn't be a deterrent...only thing is you'd have like an eighth of salvia and a lot less gum, so it would really be mixing gum into your quid. 

I say go for it and report back :grin::thumbup:

The gum may also absorb some of the compounds, and may be lost if you spit the gum out, but if you chew it long enough this may be negated since you salvia will extarct it from the gum given time. I say go for it too, and report back to us how it went.

i know when i was younger this 2 guys had a contest to regarding hot peppers...the dared each other how long they could chew them.

after the contest one of the guys was still goign strong, everyone wondered why.....he had them wrapped inside his gum chewing them.

moral of the story is if the hot stuff from peppers didn't leach out neither will salvia's.
