PC woes!!

Great lil place you got here!!! My question is . Im getting waterlogged when i PC. I place an inch of water in the PC bring it to a boil, put my 1/2 pint jars wrapped in tinfoil. i cook at 15 psi for an hour. Despite being double wrapped in foil half of my jars came out heavy and waterlogged. I assume that those waterlogged jars are useless. the other six jars sound as if the vermiculite is dry on top when rattled. I would really appreciate anyone who can help me with this problem. thanx buckets

Use one of those bottoms with the holes in it to raise your jars up higher.

Make sure when you wrap foil around them there isnt a way for water to condenate on the top and then drip inside while its cooling.

The top verm doesnt matter much, its the substrae that matters for moisture content. As long as the water content was right goign in, and you didnt get additional water inside by drip or other means, then its still right for those other jars.

The waterlogged ones are useless.

Also, I find pint jars more effective but a little bit slower to colonize. If you are making your own syrines you can be 'wasteful' and shoot a lot more spore material in there to get them done faster.
