GGuess what I found today!
    #669548 - 06/09/02 05:57 AM (21 years, 6 months ago)

Hello Shroomers,

Well Annie and i took a walk through the mushroom field today and with very little surprise, we found only 1 single specimen of Copelandia cyanescens.

Then during the drive home i started to spot Panaeolus castaneifolius in peoples lawns...
(We hunt this Shroom while driving very slowly through the neighborhood and stopping to get out and pick them)

The best part about finding castaneifolius, this time, the neighborhood just happens to be my own!!!!

So, here is the pics

First, one specimen of Panaeolus castaneifolius, growing in the wild;

We found more too, here is full the collection, i will be finding more soon;

Note: The odd mushroom out (laying horizontal), is actually Panaeolus fimicola.

Spore prints of this wonderful psychoactive Shroom are up for sale at www.southfloridashroombase.com.

Keep on shroomin,
GGreatOne234

Yeah - last year this one dude had plenty pan casters on his lawn and it seemed he was always outside doing yardwork whenever i would come around to pick.

And then a second house was actually a police officers house with a little doggie inside that would always bark at me.

I would rather be doing this than to have to trespass on a pasture...in fact i do not plan on doing much hunting this year in any cow pastures, except for when the Manatee County Mushrooming Society (Secret Society) meets this year, 2 or 3 meetings will be held this season.

For more info go to www.southfloridashroombase.com

Keep shroomin,
g

So those are all active I take it? Spore print black? Do they blue?

They also look like they have belted caps.

angryshroom,

Yes. These are potent. I have ingested this particular Shroom about 4-5 times.

I rate them as having high potency.
-More potent than Cubes,
-Less potent than Copes.

They're best eaten fresh, and they taste like fine table mushrooms you would put into a salad to eat.

They bruise blue at the base of the stem just as some subb's do.
-Look at the collection picture...the only stem that stained blue was the largest most robust one in the middle..it was so pretty and so blue and so robust and i got so excited annie had to tell me not to have a spaz or a panic attack

They have black spore prints just as subbs do.

They do indeed have belted caps, but not so noticeable on every single specimen.

This is my third season i have collecting the pan casters.

And my second season for finding single specimens of Pan. fimicola.
-This latter species i have never ingested, due to the fact that i have only found 2 specimens so far.

Very colorful high and also my most favorite Shroom.

GG

GG,
Thankyou so much for that wonderful reply

Must be great to live in the South East. Quite a variation to the findings down there!

We went for a bike ride yesterday during sunset.

The bike basket came in handy when we filled it with around 30 more pan casters and 2 more pan fimicola's!~

Can't wait for sunset tonight..

No photos - my digital camera is at the condo and we are staying out here in the country for a couple more dayz.

Keep shroomin,
GGreatOne234
