The Prestige

Damn, that was a good film...

here's something that shocked the hell out of me though (pun intended):
The part of Tesla was played by David Bowie... I didn't recognize him at all. Even after comparing his appearance in the film to a picture of bowie, I can barely tell!

I find it odd, not only does the character not bear much resemblance to the actor, but I would have thought that the character wouldn't have been his forte.

That was a rare movie I wanted to catch, little too unsure though.

Worth the money?

It was worth the money to me, seeing as how it was free. :pirate:

However, if I had paid for it, I would have felt it was worth the money. I thoroughly enjoyed it... especially since it portrayed Tesla in a very interesting manner which imparted a mystique to the film without allowing Tesla to overshadow the primary plot.

Yeah, good movie. I noticed it was Bowie as soon as they showed a close-up of his face. The eyes are always a dead giveaway for me. He has one pupil that is permanantly dialated due to an injury recieved in his teens.

I noticed it said "David Bowie" on the front of the box before I watched it....

I didn't notice that one of his pupils is dialated though. My left pupil is always bigger than my right one, its been that way since I was born as far as I know... I don't know why though...

Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who could not hear the music.
