Read books that you read as a child.

The experience of regression is very profound. To remember the thoughts and feelings you had is very...life affirming. The other night I was tripping and read a book called "Stories for 5 Year Olds" that I hadn't read since I was that exact age. It was a great feeling. The mind of a child is an amazing thing.

I just located and ordered a book in Amazon.com that I repeatedly checked out of my elementary school library in 1959 when I was in the 1st grade. It is entitled, 'You Will Go To The Moon.' I used to copy the fanciful pre-Project Mercury space crafts and men in pressure suits with crayons. Space was my favorite pre-occupation and game to play. Little did I know what a 'space cadet' I would grow up to be

Did any of you guys ever read Goodnight Moon? How about Harold and the Purple Crayon? I used to read them all the time when I was little. They are real fuckin crazy. Go to the library and check them out and read them the next time you trip.

I know, does it feel like the thoughts and feelings you can remember as a young child were like a thousanfold more entense than you current state of mind. I remember it as a constant head trip.

I reread one of my favorite books as a child some time ago... id like to find it again to take another look. It was The Cat Who Skied or something silly... but it was one of my favorite books.

Alice in Wonderland.... i just finished that, you can actually do an advanced philosophy paper on it at harvard... interesting, it def. teaches a young child to think

and button moon, fuck i used to love that, i remember it was just like a great tune... i used to hate it with a passion, and then it grew on me until i had to get my button moon fix everyday (hmm was this foreshadowing?) and was devestated as only a 4 year old can be when it was replaced by sooty... i never got over button moon, im going to go and look it up now and be amazed at how crap it is most likely ;]
