I remember seeing the author on The Colbert Report awhile back. Whats it about?

I read breaking open the head, his previous book which I enjoyed immensely
however I heard return to quetzalcoatl isn't as good

I think Pinchbeck is a poor choice to take the torch from McKenna and Leary. But unfortunately some people have given him that label.

Breaking Open the Head is the superior book.

Basically, my respect level for Pinchbeck went down the shitter when he claimed he received transmissions from Quetzalcoatl. Even if he says he's not sure what to make of it or if he believes it or not. The guy still put it in print...

You got me.

McKenna had a better presence and spoke better and was more interesting.  Hows that?
