Buying a kit

i'm new to growing but part of the experience is learning how to do it. i think it'll be fun to experiment a little so i'm buying this 20$ kit off ebay. It consists of

1 spore injection tube w/spores (P.cubnesis)
1 bag of growing medium
1 bag of brown rice flour
1 container for spore growth

and all i really need is water and a microwave for this. how many dried shrooms could i get from this? and is it a one time kit or will i be able to get more out of them? i hope it works anyway. what do u guys think bout this one?

I'm fairly new also and I also started with kits. In answer your question about yeild the answer is it can't be answered. It depends on too many things both within and not in your control.

My advice to you is to start reading up on the PF-TEK here at the Shroomery if your serious about growing. Kits are too expensive for the long term, and not nearly as fun as growing your own cakes.

Kits are bad, and this one sounds kind of questionable. You learn so much more by doing it yourself. At least you didn't buy one of those milliion dollar kits from sporetradingpost.com Like bassplayer74 said, Pf Tek good.

I would be weary of kits. But go ahead and try it. If does not work come check out the many tek's available for growing your own shrooms. But hey ya gotta start somewhere. Don't be surprised if does not work though.

No no no no no no. Don't buy from that guy, he has no idea what he is doing and your kit will almost definately get a contam. He is trying to scam newbies who don't know any better. I would not buy from him.
