tea time for two

first time grower baffled. good looking cake, fully colonized for week, shocked in fridge overnight, good terrrium setup for another week, still looks as it did when put in terrarum for birthing. fully white with the top curling in a little and brownish like drops of maple sap. smells really shroomy. cut it into cross sections tonight for more surface area (??). inside was white to core, but verm/brf throughout as well. ten fully colonized cakes (no signs of pinning) waiting for advice on what to do, or not do according to current results from this first guinea pig cake. also, if it doesn't end up pinning, will the cake itself make good tea? put some dry cow patties under the cross sections in damp perlite-grounded terrarium tonight, saran wrap roofed, H2O misted 3x day, indirect sunlight. Baffled.

If you have high enough humidity you will see pins. I dont think you should have sliced your cake. Sounds like there's nothing wrong with it. It can take up to 3 weeks sometimes to see pins. Be patient.
