Anyone got any input on these? Found growing from a wood chip path through a woods in Minnesota......
None of them stained at all, the skinny pointed cap ones had hollow stems. I didn't get a print from any of 'em, sorry--but there's a lot more there and I can get more samples if need be.
I'm sure they're not edible, but I'm curious, so if anyone has an educated guess.....
Thanks

Hey, thanks, I knew I had seen similar mushies in other posts, and Conocybe rings a bell as well.....
No ideas about the others,though?

the top one looks like it's probably Coprinus or Psathyrella, both with a black print. 2nd and 3rd pic MAY be Agrocybe, common in woodchips in spring with a dark brown print. might not be too. hope that's helpful...

Oops, my bad. They resemble some Conocybes(or so I was told) that I found growing from woodchips and horse manure. The common name for the mushroom I found was "Brown Dunce Cap." The mushrooms he has look almost exactly like it but are a little bit darker... Ahh just found a picture of the mushrooms I found.
I was told that the mushrooms on the left were Conocybes(ones on the right are Amanita muscaria).
Peace out, -Gumby

Thanks MJ...
NiGGy, they look a little dry because it was a couple hours after I picked 'em before I took the pic....and I'm no whiz with the cam, either. All those are on the same piece of green paper, and look how different the colors turned out :P
Thanks to everyone!

The ones in the first pic are inactive. Can you eat them? I THINK. But wait for somebody elses reply...Are these the ones that you can't eat with alcohol?

Yeah coprinus is poisonous when eaten within the same timeframe as alcohol. It gives you gastrointestinal problems for a few days and liquid shits. Gumby let me on this after my first productive hunt--none were Copes.
