'Atom Heart Mother,' that is, is one of my favorites. Listened to it when it first came out in '68 or '69; listened to it at Stonehenge two summers ago; and still listen to it - bright and sunny. Now, if you want dark and spooky, try 'Echos,' from the Meddle album, at night, perhaps with a single candle to throw shadows.

Shit. I just listened to Atom Heart Mother the other day, and was going to make a thread about how GREAT that album is. I've never listened to it along with any movie though.
That album is so unheralded. It should be given way more respect than it is. It's just so great. I just got it on 4-20 of this year. I've never known ANYONE to have ever had it before my friend burned it for me. I mean, I know I could go BUY it, but..........get real.

I picked it up 'cause I was high, and the cow on the cover called out to me.

Hehehe. Something funny about this album. David Gilmore says it's the biggest piece of shit that they have done. But it's not too bad an album though.
