Hydra-Pod ?

Hey,

I would like to know what the Hydra-Pod actually does. Is it only a terrarium? Can it be used for incubation? Is the only thing it does keep high humidity and air-exchange? Does it keep the temperature optimal?

I only ask because i want to know what a $314.00(205.00 US) terrarium actually does. For that much cash i could build myself an entire closet terrarium/incubator....
