 light malt extract and dextrose LC

Hey just got my light malt extract and dextrose. I am trying to find the proper recipe lots of people say a tablespoon of each to a quart of water but i've seen some pros and oldhands saying 1 table spoon of each to 2 cups of water and others saying 600-700 milliters which neither of the equal a quart. so what is the perfect recipe exactly?

I use 1 tablespoon each for 500ml distilled water.
I get out a coffee maker (used just for this), let a pot of fresh water run through to clean it out and discard, add the light malt extract and dextrose to 2 coffee filters, add the distilled water to the maker, and let it run through.
Then I pour it (the pot of hot water now with the light malt extract and dextrose) back into the maker, add 2 more empty coffee filters, and run it through one more time.
Pour the hot liquid into jars (or whatever) and then PC for 15 minutes at 15 psi.
You also might want to run another pot of clean water through when you're done to keep the coffee maker clean.

(at least nuked til bubbling hot)
Stir until dissolved.
Filter through double coffee filters.
Pour half into 2 quart jars.
(each half full, which allows for considerable gas in the jars)
Add a glass marble to each, as an agitator device.
Nuke both jars AGAIN until bubbling.
Add lids, with gas exchange filter & port.
Do not screw lids on tight.
Leave them a half turn loose.
Place jars in pre-heated PC.
PC around 12/14 psi lbs, for about 12 to 15 minutes.
Since jars were pre-heated/boiled.
You don't have to PC as high or long, as normal.
This will usually keep sugars from caramelizing light/dark brown.
Allow PC to cool somewhat.
Open PC & IMMEDIATELY tighten lids.
Cover lids with a double coffee filter dust cover.
Held in place with a rubber band.

hey agar do you use that same method for your turbinado lc's, and if so how much turbinado sugar do you use for a quart, also which do you like better the turbinado lc's or the malt/dex, because i use allot of lc and the turbinado is way cheaper then honey (which i prefer over malt/dex)

w00t thats what i'm talkin about. that is the best explained LC tek i've seen for malt extract  thx for the penis too

I am curious to the answer of this question considering I have both materials, and repeat failures. My inoculation, and spawning methods are solid, but I fail to make steady cultures from numerous syringes, from numerous dealers.
Any help would be appreciated.

You must PC the lc for 15-30 mins. Heres how I do mine.. Its simple and works almost every time!
Take HOT water put the amount of water you want into the container you want, I recommend a shorter fatter container due to ease of getting LC into a syringe.
Add 4% honey to the hot water.
Put the jar lid on (make sure you drilled a 1/4 hole or a little smaller in the top!)
Put Foil around the lid tuck it on it well.
PC for 15 mins at 15 PSI or like 25 mins at 10 psi.
Leave over night to cool..
Next day open PC up and put the LC into a glove box ( MAKE ONE NOW OR YOU NEED TO STOP TRYING!)
Shoot it up with 1-2 cc of spore solution.
Swirl it once a day and wait!
NO FILTERING
NO MUSS
NO FUSS
Nice LC's that can be used to start many many more!!
My LC's sit out in the room at room temp with foil covering the lid when growing. When its time to suck some up, I pull foil back suck it up then put it in the fridge if its done growing
It works stunningly well.. 4cc's in wbs quarts = rippppp rippppping through it.

well grogan idk if you were answering my Q or not but i was asking agar about his turbinado lc's (you may have seen his post about it) i have done many lc's and consider myself a pretty experienced grower or actives and gourmet, i don't mean to toot my own horn just stating fact's, i was just asking agar if with the turbinado there is a different cook time and if he like it better then malt/dex (which i don't like)
